Do you know the difference between what’s real and fake when it comes to online news? In this 8-week, after-school workshop, teens learn filmmaking basics, then create a short film about how to recognize the difference between real and fake news. Acting as mobile reporters, youth will film daily short videos recapping the day’s events and share them to various social media platforms, creating a better informed society.
PLUS: Participants earn $100 upon program completion!
Sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Library System and the Poughkeepsie Journal Media Group.
Return via MAIL, DROP-OFF or EMAIL (firstname.lastname@example.org) by January 20, 2017.
