The Reel Expressions International Youth Film Festival celebrates the creativity and talent of today’s young filmmakers, including local youth in Poughkeepsie. Your sponsorship enables us to put together this exciting event, one that is quickly becoming a hallmark of Poughkeepsie’s arts and culture scene, and 2017 is shaping up to be an even bigger success than previous years! This year’s festival takes place Fall 2017!

Beginning in 2013, Reel Expressions has grown to encompass all of Spark’s goals: to encourage youth creativity, to invigorate our local community through the arts, and to showcase the incredible work done by the next generation of media-makers. This annual festival features a juried selection of youth-produced short films created by teens from our community and from around the world, providing a coveted opportunity for ambitious young artists to showcase their work in front of hundreds of film enthusiasts. Spark receives high caliber submissions from different countries, and screens youth-produced films (under 10 minutes each). The festival also features an interactive media experience and a filmmaker Q&A.

Get your business noticed! As part of your sponsorship, Spark Media Project will actively promote your business’ support of our programs to our large audience. The Spark Media Project website receives more than 14,000 unique visitors per year with more than 85,000 page views. Our bi-monthly e-blasts are sent to around 2,500 Hudson Valley homes and residents, and our Facebook page has more than 1,800 subscribers in the Hudson Valley, NYC, and beyond.

By becoming a Reel Expressions Sponsor today, you support the youth artists of tomorrow!
